Jared's First Birthday

Many have asked when i'm gonna stop calling him baby Jared, my rebutle is "When he has a younger sibling. I'm not anouncing anything, I'm just saying, he will be Big Brother Jared. We aren't done, but when the anouncement happens i'll let you know, or at least put out a quiz/hint."

Phone+Toilet+1 year old

= BAD for phone, good for me, I get a new phone now.
So that looks about right. naturally I didn't take the time to take a photo before pulling it out.
So Jared, thebig one Year old grabs my phone, walks into the bathroom after me. So i'm preventing him from throwin it into the tub, which has a wet wash cloth in it still. In the save from the tub, it then ended up in the toilet. go figure.

So I get a new phone. mabe I should get the military phone, that is waterproof and Shock resistant. lol. the mayham begins, and this is why children are so expensive, it's cause of all the things you have to replace after they get done with it. lol!! But I still love him.

The Rain

So this is after the big rain storm in the valley that happened on Thursday Night, Jan. 21, 2010!!

So video was taken on Friday afternoon @ noon.

This is Friday night. @ 5:30.

So the moral of the story is if you don't like the weather in Arizona, wait a few hours.

First Post of 2010!

So I have a ton of stuff to add to this blog. let's see... where to start?!?!?!?!! sorry the weeks are turning into months, (I get stuck at the transfering of photos and videos from our portable devices to the computer.) sorry i take so long.

ok so we spent Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Kartchner.

The First present Jared got from Grandma Kartchner and Jared's 2nd cousins. cute we loved it, (talk about your sugar rush.)

This is Great Aunt Louanne and Great Uncle Gary's tree. (Jared wanted to spoil the surprise for everyone.)

Because Jared is soo good at making messes the vaccum cleaner broke. So Jared tried to help Grandpa fix it. Now Grandpa knows how mom feels when trying to do anything. lol!

It's been nothing but laughs and giggles since the New Year!!

How can you get that face into trouble? crazy kid got ahold of one of Dad's homemade chocolate chip cookies.

Well he was sleeping through the night at 6 months.

But month 7 he go this first tooth,

Month 8 he got 3 teeth at once.

Months 9 &10 he was seeing what he could get away with.

So we decided that he needs to be sleeping through the night now that he's almost a year old.

so we started "The Sleeping Treatment"on Sat. Jan. 9, 2010. and so Sat and Sun. were rough nights. But Mon. Jan. 11, 2010 was the first night he slept all the way through the night. he went to be at 8:30 and didn't wake us up till tues. Jan. 12, 2010 at 7:00 am!!

YEAH!!!!! HE'S SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT. 3 NIGHTS IN A ROW SO FAR. WE'RE LOVING IT.

FROSTY!!!!

So Jared and I were invited (by a friend) to go to the showing "Frosty" at the Broadway Plams Theatre. Jared Bounced up and down the entire time.

So this is the front of the program and all the autographs of the cast, except Frosty, a snowman has no fingers so he can't hold a pen to sign his name.

Past 2 weeks

So I"m sorry my last couple posts have been totally not weekly. it's the whole transfering of information from camera and phones to the computer. lol. but alot has happened these last two weeks.


So This is Jared ready for church. (he didn't really wear the tie to church), He's growing so fast we'll wait till next week. lol!!

Jared did have to help Grandpa Kartchner Rotertill the backyard.

So Mark has started all kinds of things with Jared. This is a new one, mark Holds the binki and Jared ... well.... tries his best to get it.

You gotta love playing in the water, but it's not what you think.

Also this is Jared's way of saying "I'm ready to upgrade!"

He was ok after the fall, we picked him up and he stopped crying, so it was probably just a startled cry.

So are we naughty parents for doin' this to Jared, after all he is 9 months now. I call this Dizzy Jared.

We love that even though he got 3 teeth in the month of Oct. He still is a very happy boy. The break down is ... he waited till 7 months to get his first tooth; than in month 8 he got 3 additional teeth, talk about your rough night sleep.

We Have a total of 4 teeth. So glad he'll be able to eat his own Thanksgiving meal.

1st Snow

The Crazy road we had to drive on. Maybe i shouldn't have let mark drive for his first time in the snow. lol! well we didn't take any major SLIDE streets. he he he he!If you notice there are snowflakes on all our right eyes. ironic, we like this photo.

More like the Months of the Weeks.

So Sorry, it's been about a month since I've last updated the blog.

First of all by popular demand, request and suggestion. THE MOWHAWK!!!

First picture taken in July when Jared was 5 months old.

This Picture taken in Sept. when Jared was 7 months old. So we are doing the mowhawks, I'll try to get other varieties.Here he is with His "cousins" the official term, 'first cousins twice removed.' they only difference is he just turned 7 months in this shot and his cousins had just turned 12 months old. Gotta love my big baby.

He's upgrading in food; not only to harder solids but also to paper. no longer do we have to blame the dog for eatting the homework. LOL!

Speaking of solids here He is eatting a genaric brand of a klondik bar, on his first trip to California.Baby Jared making sure that the back of the truck is tied down right. gotta keep tabs on Grandpa Kartchner, he's getting up there. 'Love ya Grandma and Grandpa Kartchner'
