So Mark and Baby Jared have officially bonded. Mark has started this counting game with the baby, Mark will start pushing (or poking) my tummy, He'll poke once and we will feel baby Jared kick back once, and Mark and Jared have that down. the end of last week Mark started to poke twice and Jared was still kicking only once. so through repetative pokings, (poor mom) Mark has officially made progress and just the beginning of this week Mark was studiously poking and counting to baby Jared, "one" "one, two" as he was repeating this Baby Jared i guess caught on to what Mark was wanting and Kicked back twice. "super!" well mark was so excited that "one, two, three." he jumps up to three pokes. well Jared only kicked back once at that point. "ha ha, and neener neener." I then told mark that he was at least Three years of age outside of the womb before he could probably start counting that high. Told him to give Jared a break and stick with 2 for right now. so it has happened that Jared is distinguishing between "one" and "one, two" at least on a more regular basis for right now.
